AFMESI Advances Blue Economy Collaboration with the World Bank

On March 18, 2025, the African Marine Environment Sustainability Initiative (AFMESI) held a strategic meeting with Instituto para el Crecimiento Sostenible de la Empresa (ICSEM), Spain, on the implementation of the World Bank-funded project:
“Supporting the Development of the Blue Economy Framework in Nigeria”

This high-level engagement focused on financial proposals and alignment with World Bank procurement processes. The overarching goal is to support the Nigerian government and stakeholders in crafting a cohesive, future-ready Blue Economy Vision.
