In April, 2024, Dr.(Mrs.) Felicia Chinwe Mogo, the Pioneer Counselor of WAMASON Lagos Council, and President of AFMESI, was recognized with the prestigious “HERO of WAMASON” Lagos Council Award at the EKO Waste Summit 2024 event. Organized by the Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON), this testifies to Dr. Mogo’s outstanding contributions along with some of her colleagues in ensuring that WAMASON stands on its feet adequately in Lagos State.
